With the launch of Chrome 68, any website that contains input fields, asks for passwords or any other sensitive data, or is visited in incognito mode, will be marked as ‘not secure’ if it does not have an SSL Certificate. This will be prominently highlighted in the URL bar.
We offer Free SSL certificates from Let’s Encrypt. Every free SSL certificate is a ‘wildcard’ one, meaning that it can secure any number of subdomains of a website. These require you to use our name servers. They help improve Google ranking and reassure potential customers that a site is secure.
If you are not using our name servers, we also offer Basic and Essential SSL Certificates, starting at just £24.99 per year.
If you do have any questions or need assistance with getting SSL setup, please do contact our support team from your Account Control Panel.
